How to raise a Non-Conformance Report:

When a breach is identified in LogChecker:

  1. If you are in 7 or 14 Day view, change to “Single Day” view;
  2. Scroll down to the “NCR Tab”;
  3. Complete or update your entry in “Short Term Action” and/or “Long Term Action” fields;
  4. Click “Print” to generate a printable edition of the NCR;

The printed copy may be presented to the driver for:

  1. Notification of the breach;
  2. An instructional tool or procedure to indicate an unacceptable practice;
  3. Detailing of a Corrective Action, Non Conformance or Exception;
  4. Closing out of a Non-Conformance;

Once signed by the driver and supervisor it should be filed for future reference, demonstrating:

  1. Due diligence by the operator;
  2. Demonstration for a "Reasonable Steps Defence";

Note: The completed NCR may be scanned and attached as a pdf against the Diary Entry in LogChecker. The document will then appear as a pdf icon next to the diary page date (sample below):
